The Quest 746 480V Dehumidifier features a patented multi-coil design, which provides industry-leading efficiencies. This new unit with higher voltages uses less amperage, freeing up electricity for other equipment.

Multi-Coil Design for Unmatched Efficiency

Quest’s patented multi-coil design creates a constant curve of efficiency that delivers a consistent energy factor (kWh) even at 75 degrees F and 50 percent RH. Three coils work together to more effectively cool air prior to and during dehumidification.

The first coil is filled with refrigerant and takes the edge off warm, moist air without removing moisture. When this air passes over the second coil, the evaporator drops the air temperature below the dew point, and water begins to be removed from it. As this air passes the third coil, energy is recovered and recycled to further improve efficiency.

This high efficiency makes the Quest 746 compliant with California Title 24 regulations, as recently updated, both for overhead (portable) and ducted (whole-house) installation.

Eco-Friendly Refrigerant Model

This high-capacity dehumidifier is also available as an upgraded model featuring the eco-friendly R-454B refrigerant, which offers a 78 percent lower global warming potential, as well as greater efficiency and more cost-effective moisture removal.

Higher Voltage for Better Electrical Usage

The Quest 746 dehumidifier is a 480-volt unit that pulls only 6.5 amps of current at maximum effort. This frees up electricity for operating additional equipment. These impressive machines are also UL-rated and ETL-listed to the highest safety standards.

Onboard Display and Interface

The Quest 746 features a digital display screen that can be used to view and set alarms, and can be password-protected. Set the date/time, language, and activate alarms. The data logger tracks unit run hours and keeps an alarm log with the code and a short description, time & date of the trigger as well as that of the fault resolution.

Additional Features

• External Control Required: The Quest 746 needs an external remote humidistat through a 24V terminal block. Options include Quest DEH 3000R Control or Honeywell Remote Humidistat. (Purchased separately)
• Hard-Wired: This unit does not have a cord with a plug, but is hard-wired only.
• Daisy-Chain: Up to three (3) units can be daisy-chained together with a single controller.
• Gravity Drain: Condensate drains by gravity through the drain port, which uses a 3/4-inch male NPT PVC pipe (not included).
• Indoor Use: Designed for indoor use in a space protected from rain and flooding.
