This model is the largest capacity model in the Ebac DD Series of premium industrial desiccant dehumidifiers, performing exceptionally well in cold temperatures (down to -4 degrees F).

It extracts up to 562 pints of moisture per day in AHAM conditions and is best for lowering humidity in industrial spaces to prevent mold, corrosion, and condensation.

How Ebac Desiccant Dehumidifiers Work

Desiccant dehumidifiers use a process called adsorption (different from absorption) to remove moisture from damp air and saturated surfaces. This process uses a Silica Gel wheel, plus an internal heater, to recirculate drier air throughout a room, reducing overall humidity levels and drying surfaces. 

Because they contain no refrigerant, desiccant dehumidifiers can operate in extremely low temperatures, down to -4 degrees Fahrenheit.

Extreme Dehumidifying Even At Low Temperatures

The Ebac DD1200 Dehumidifier removes impressive amounts of moisture in AHAM (80 degrees F, 60% RH) using three extraction settings as needed.

• High Extraction Setting: Removes up to 562 pints per day
• Deep Drying Setting: Yields 508 pints per day
• High Efficiency Setting: Extracts 402 pints of moisture per day.

The overall moisture removal rate depends on the temperature and relative humidity in the area where the dehumidifier is being used. The higher the temperature and relative humidity, the more pints of moisture are removed. And remarkably, this unit continues removing moisture in low humidity and low temperature conditions, unlike a conventional refrigerant dehumidifier.

The Ebac DD1200 incorporates a PTC heater to ensure that maximum drying is immediately reached and constantly maintained while the unit is running. The housing is made from high-grade stainless steel, producing a rust-free product when used in the most severe of applications.

The spigot connectors allow for quick and easy installation. Plus, this model incorporates a high-efficiency, patented PPS rotor. All desiccant rotors supplied by Ebac are washable and designed for high performance and long life.
